On Wednesday, September 22, 2021, Governor Tate Reeves signed a proclamation declaring September 19-25, 2021, as Adult Education & Family Literacy Week in the State of Mississippi. The Office of Adult Education would like to thank Governor Reeves for his support in bringing awareness to the importance of adult education in Mississippi. Adult education provides a pathway to equip adults with the knowledge and skills they need to train for jobs of the future. With programs in each of the 82 counties, we are equipped to provide basic skills and workforce training necessary to SkillUP Mississippi.
